Day 2: Istanbul
Merhaba! Welcome to Istanbul! Upon arrival at Ataturk International Airport, you will be greeted by your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative, who will greet and drive you to
your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day exploring Istanbul. Wander through the colorful streets of Sultanahmet or take in the buzz of Taksim and its famous square.
Day 3: Istanbul (B)
After breakfast, your day will begin with your private full day sightseeing tour. You will visits Topkapi Palace, the famous residence of the sultans and then continue on to Hagia Sophia
Church, the pride and glory of the Byzantine. Your journey continues with a visit to the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles. After lunch (optional), you can continue to the Grand
Bazaar, the world’s largest covered bazaar with 4000 shops as well as the charming Spice Market whose scents will entice you to shop. Enjoy a quiet evening enjoying one of our great
restaurant recommendations.
Day 4: Istanbul (B)
There are no planned activities today. You might consider one of our great walking tours, perhaps one of our Street Foodie tours where you will sample Turkish cuisine in all of its facets, from the local markets to some award winning food trucks. In the afternoon, consider an afternoon sail of the Bosporus and enjoying views of the Intercontinental Suspension Bridge that
connects the European and Asian Sides of Istanbul. You will also view the Beylerbeyi Palace, the white marble summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans used in the 19th century. Like
snacks and beverages (optional) are offered during your sail.
Day 5: Istanbul (B)
The last day in Istanbul has arrived. If you feel like a quick beach trip, you might consider a sail toward the Prince Islands (Adalar). They are southeast of the city and make for a great escape from the city. If you feel like exploring the city, you might consider the upscale neighborhood of Nişantaşi, or visiting the Basilica Cistern, one of the largest cisterns ever constructed in the world.
Day 6: Istanbul / Bodrum (B)
After breakfast, your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative, will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport for your short flight to Bodrum. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative, who will greet and drive you to your hotel. Bodrum is a beautiful coastal town located on the south western peninsula of Turkey. Bodrum is
home to famous Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as well as for its lively nightlife and magnificent beaches. The relaxing views of the sunsets and the sea below create a perfect setting for the next few days.
Day 7: Bodrum (B)
Your entire day is at leisure. While in Bodrum consider visiting Dalyan (Kaunos) and there you can board a boat to visit the famous mud baths. Enjoy the crystal clear waters where the
endemic Caretta turtles lay their eggs. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing by the pool or one of the great sandy beaches of the region.
Day 8: Bodrum (B)
Your morning is at leisure. Entice your senses by swimming, sunbathing and enjoying a range of water sports at some of Bodrum’s’ most beautiful beaches. Later in the evening visit the
main town where many bars, clubs and restaurants will have you experiencing Turkey’s most vibrant summer scene.
Day 9: Bodrum (B)
After breakfast, consider a half day tour of Bodrum where you will visit the Castle of Saint John, the famous Museum of Underwater Archaeology and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. Since its your last day in Bodrum, it’s time for one more swim and a visit into town for last minute purchases or one a great dinner from one of our restaurant recommendations.
Day 10: Bodrum / Istanbul / Home (B)
Your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative will drive you to the airport for your short flight to Istanbul connecting to your flight home.
