Your journey begins in the charming village of Kaloxylos, where you’ll visit a historic olive press dating back to 1880 and indulge in a tasting of premium local olive oils. Next, we venture deeper into the island’s mountain villages to meet a local shepherd, where you’ll gain insight into traditional cheesemaking and sample a variety of artisanal cheeses. From there, we’ll take a well-deserved lunch break at a cozy farm-to-table tavern in Koronos, where you’ll savor a spread of authentic local delicacies. To complete the experience, we’ll visit the legendary Kitron distillery in Halki, established in 1896, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of Naxos’ rare and vibrant Kitron liqueur—an exclusive treat found only on this island.
